What an amazing evening of music!

Jackson NEVER disappoints...and I love how whenever I see him (and I follow him only somewhat less obsessively than a DeadHead/Further fan follow their musical muses) he is introducing new artists to his audiences - and supports them onstage as well! I first saw Vonda Shepherd with him - she was a revelation and has had a strong career since. I first heard Sara play with Jackson on the LiveStream Newport Festival (alerted by my dear friend, Kath) - which also had all of them playing with Dawes!! She is fabulous...sublime. In all - the LiveStream was extra special wonderful! Jackson was originally going to make this an acoustic concert tour...his words...but couldn't bear leaving the fun he was having with this team behind...DID I MENTION IT WAS AMAZING. Electric AND acoustic...some variations...all so heartfelt - he actually lost it, last verse of Sky Blue And Black, tonight. I did too.
